Amethysts have been found in belongings of ancient kings and royalty and were once more valuable than diamonds. Amethysts are said to provide protection and power. They are a symbol of strength in overcoming bad habits or addictions and or any other problems. Amethysts also may strengthen the bond of love between two people and make great gifts for loved ones. They have long been used in spiritual and religious practices to symbolize the true spirit and value of your faith.
